For over 70 years, Brunswick Heads Pharmacy has been serving the community of Brunswick Heads and beyond, excelling in providing expert health advice and support while stocking a range of boutique gifts and body products. Housed in a post-war Art Deco building, Brunswick Heads Pharmacy was first established on its present site in 1948 by Peter Harding, then subsequently taken over firstly by Ray Phippard and then Bede Donlon. In 1961 Keith and Margaret Thurecht arrived from Victoria and became the fourth owner of the Pharmacy, continuing the tradition of providing great customer service to the local community and beyond.

When the Pharmacy was purchased from Mr Donlon it occupied about half its present site, with a brick wall separating the Pharmacy from a Devonshire tea house. The wall was subsequently removed and the pharmacy enlarged in 1965.

On 27th June 1994, after 34 years of their service to the community, Keith and Margaret retired and the Pharmacy was taken over by Terry Daly. who faithfully preserving the tradition of providing great customer service to the locals until 13th October 2017, when the Pharmacy was handed over to its current owner, Jit Chong, as the 6th owner of Brunswick Heads Pharmacy since its inception in 1948.

Today, Brunswick Heads Pharmacy is continuing the tradition of providing expert health advice and support, without losing the friendly and personalised service that is the hallmark of local businesses. Jit has also been meticulously sourcing unique and boutique products from all corners of the world, with his mission of improving the quality of life in the community not only with health services, but also by being a purveyor of quality brands and goods.
